Rising Generation Education with Chief Learning Officer, Mindy Earley
In This Episode:
“Education is omnipresent” -Mindy Earley, Chief Learning Officer, FOX
NOTE: This episode was recorded at the beginning of COVID-19. There are references to events that weren’t able to happen.
In this episode, my friend Mindy Earley and I dive into one of my favorite topics– rising generation education. In families with an enterprise (or two attached) to their name, there is often much expected of the next, or rising, generation. Yet, so often, they are not prepared for their new responsibilities.
“To whom much is given, much will be required” (Luke 12:48)
No one wants entitled children (not even the children) or kids who haven’t found their purpose and identity outside (and inside) the family enterprise. We want the best for our kids.
That is the reason Mindy and I recorded this episode.
If you are the rising generation of your family’s enterprise, and you have this feeling inside there is more for you to learn, or if your kids are going to inherit and you think there is much they need to know, this is the episode for you.
Here are the questions I asked Mindy:
- About Mindy
- Who are the Rising Generation?
- Why is Education Important? What is it ?
- What is a family office?
- How do you get started with Rising Gen Education?
- Who is that Family Champion?
- What are the best practices when starting and launching an education program?
- How can we find you and additional resources to explore?
- The 4 Pillars of FOX’s Leadership Curriculum
