A few years ago, I looked around and saw many of my friends and colleagues struggling as they transitioned into leadership roles within their organizations. They started strong, full of confidence and anticipation, but things changed.

The weight and pressure of everyone's expectations—at work, at home, and in the community—led to feelings of stress, overwhelm and loneliness. Those who were part of a family business felt isolated. Others felt they were lacking mentors or someone to act as a sounding board as they shifted into leadership.

And frankly, I could relate. I experienced these thoughts and emotions working with my family over the last 20 years. It was sometimes a long and painful road.

To help other next-generation leaders, I created Successful Generations with a podcast to share resources with my audience, and I became a certified coach. Now, through SG Coaching, my goal is to work hand-in-hand with leaders as they level up so they can lead strong and never feel alone again!
